SSE encourages the use of renewable energy by offering custom micro-generation tariffs and products to their customers. Formerly branded as Scottish & Southern Energy, it is one of the famous Big Six energy suppliers in the UK. SSE is the parent company to SSE Atlantic, SSE Scottish Hydro, SSE Southern Electric and SSE SWALEC. In January 2020 SSE was acquired by OVO Energy

Does SSE have exit fees?

If you leave SSE before the end of your contract, you'll be charged £25 for each fuel. If you move house or switch tariffs with SSE then these exit fees will be waived.
